The sale of Bourtanical
Bourtanical Limited had many great features that caught the buyer’s eye, including a well organised restaurant space, a brilliant reputation with local diners and huge potential for growth. The restaurant is nestled in Cheltenham, within the scenic Cotswolds area that’s popular with tourists.
The seller, Mr Whitehouse, bought the business in 2007 and had grown it significantly during his time as owner thanks to his passion and dedication to hospitality. Mr Whitehouse was looking to relocate and after 15 years of hard work, decided it was time to sell up.
CoGoGo had created an exciting marketing plan for the business and expected to receive offers soon after it went on the market.
The business went on the market in June 2022 and as anticipated, quickly received interest. The buyer, Mr Hasbajrami made an offer in October 2022, and the sale was completed in January 2023. Mr Hasbajrami is also based in Cheltenham and owned two Italian Restaurants before purchasing Bourtanical.
