Upon receiving initial contact from our client, we promptly reached out to introduce our services, highlighting our no-sale, no-fee guarantee.

Following a phone consultation with our valuer to discuss their financial goals and sale expectations, we provided a tailored proposal. Once we were instructed, Daisy’s Tea Rooms officially hit the market by December 15th. Our team immediately began matching the business with our pool of registered buyers, ensuring a swift and targeted approach.

After just a few weeks on the market, we received an offer just under the asking price of £39,995 which our clients accepted. Unfortunately, this sale sadly fell through. The business proved to be very popular, with over 15 viewings arranged and over 10 different offers in total were made. Although the previous sale had fallen through this did not discourage the team, as with such high interest in the business, the team were confident a sale would be achieved. In March, just four months after going to market, the sales team was approached by an interested party who would eventually become the buyer, wanting to find out more about the business. After sending the details over, a viewing was arranged promptly. After viewing, the interested party quickly made an offer of just under the new marketing price of £34,995. As there was such high interest in the business, we made the interested party aware that there were other offers on the table and we could not guarantee that this offer would be accepted. After explaining this to them, we were instructed by the interested party to ask our client to ignore the other offers made, as this particular interested party felt they had proven they were the right fit for the business as they demonstrated their passion for owning and running the business; our client agreed and proceeded with the sale.

On the 15th of July, the sale of Daisy’s Coffee Shop & Bistro was completed. A huge well-done to the team for being persistent throughout the sale and ensuring there were solutions to any problems faced.

We caught up with the client a couple of weeks later, following completion and asked for some feedback. In their own words ‘it was difficult at the start, but it did get better for me towards the end. It’s a big thing selling a business or a property, but it is the best thing I’ve ever done, and I can now concentrate on me’ Our client has been asked to help out in the newly refurbished Daisy’s, and is excited to be back to offer a help in hand.

We wish Janice all the best for the future.
