It is so called as there is a Dennis double decker bus to the front in the garden dining area that is being sold with the business. The bus is set up as a tearoom to the lower deck giving seating for 16 – 20 and is ripe for further development. Outside there is an eclectic mix of seating which are surrounded by many flower boxes. Internally, the tearoom is reminiscent of your grannie’s parlour. All in all, there is seating for around 60 guests.
The Bus Stop Tea Room opens its doors at 7.30am 7 days a week and closes at 4.30pm. Each day our client freshly makes cakes & soup and serves them along with breakfast, lunch, savoury snacks, hot and cold drinks. The business has been a big hit with the local working community but does require further advertising to promote the business all the more. The tearoom’s double decker bus can also be utilised further for children’s parties or made into a play bus etc to make this a venue for all the family.

The Bus Stop Vintage Tea Room is located in the village of Crowfield on the main tourist route on the A1120 which leads from A140 and A12 via scenic Suffolk villages. Therefore, this is an ideal stop off point.
The Bus Stop Vintage Tea Room was founded by our client in 2018, but unfortunately due to family ill health our client is now looking to sell.
There is parking directly outside, with a garden to the front of the tearoom. Within the garden is an eclectic mix of seating and tables and the garden in walled by flower boxes, there is total seating here for around 20.
The W registered Dennis double decker bus, which was last MOT’d in November 2017 is accessed through the front with the drivers seating area which is ideal for photo opportunities. The lower deck of the bus still retains many of its original seats and has a mix of tables for diners and has seating for up to 20. On the top deck the bus retains all of its seats and this area could be utilised in another way, i.e. further seating for the tearoom or to be utilised as a party area or play area for children.
The main tearoom building has three doors, to the left there is a door directly into the kitchen, to the right there is a door directly into the tearoom and in the middle is a door to the toilet.
The tearoom is in fact two rooms the first having seating across 3 table for 12, a door to the storage room with water heater, a door to a lobby way to the kitchen and a doorway to the rear tearoom that has seating across 2 tables for 8 and further soft seating.
There is an interconnecting lobby that leads from the front tearoom to the kitchen, this area has storage for cutlery etc.
The kitchen has a 6 burner Lincat stove, double sink, preparation table, buffalo water heater, 2 fridges, microwave and extractor fan.
To the side of the building is a covered storage area with racking.
