CoGoGo welcomes an exciting opportunity to acquire Golden Hour Tanning Studio, a beautifully presented, modern tanning studio occupying a convenient location in West Thurrock, Grays, close to Lakeside Shopping Centre.
Stylish, contemporary and designed to deliver a premium tanning experience, the studio has been beautifully renovated and comes equipped with four modern tanning beds, offering a fantastic ready-to-go opportunity for an enthusiastic new owner.
The business enjoys an excellent reputation and operates from a high-footfall location with the added advantage of free customer parking directly outside the salon. The current owner is selling for investment reasons and is happy to provide a handover period, with terms negotiable.
Golden Hour Tanning Studio has been under the current ownership since April 2026 and has been developed as a fresh, modern and welcoming tanning destination.
The studio offers a contemporary environment with four high-spec tanning beds and has already established an excellent local reputation.
As a relatively new business, there are currently no historic annual accounts available. The owner is preparing a spreadsheet of the business's trading figures, which can be made available to seriously interested parties when completed.
The business also benefits from an established website and social-media presence, with ongoing social-media support already in place. The individual currently providing this support is willing to continue working with the business following a sale for an agreed weekly or monthly fee, providing further continuity for an incoming purchaser.
Importantly, the current owner is willing to remain with the business following completion in an employed Manager or Assistant Manager capacity, working approximately 35–40 hours per week, subject to mutually agreed employment terms.
This could provide exceptional continuity for an incoming purchaser. The owner knows the day-to-day operation inside and out and has established relationships with the existing customer base, suppliers, landlord and individuals renting rooms within the premises.
As such, an incoming owner could benefit from an experienced individual who already understands the operation and would require minimal familiarisation with the business.
Combined with the existing social-media support that can also continue by agreement, this provides a particularly attractive opportunity for a purchaser seeking a smooth, supported transition from day one.
Viewings to be arranged strictly by appointment only via CoGoGo!
Golden Hour Tanning Studio occupies Unit 8A, The Glade Business Centre, Eastern Avenue, West Thurrock, Grays, Essex, RM20 3FH.
The business benefits from a highly accessible commercial location close to Lakeside Shopping Centre, providing excellent potential to attract customers from West Thurrock, Grays and the wider surrounding area.
Customers benefit from free parking directly outside the premises, making the studio particularly convenient for both regular and passing trade.
The business operates from leasehold premises at Unit 8A, The Glade Business Centre.
The studio has been beautifully renovated, creating a smart, modern setting in keeping with the Golden Hour brand.
The premises are equipped with four modern tanning beds, allowing an incoming purchaser to take over an attractive, ready-to-operate studio without the need to establish the business from scratch.
The premises also benefit from two separate rooms which are currently rented out, each generating £600 per calendar month, providing the business with an additional £1,200 per month (£14,400 per annum) in rental income. These are room rental arrangements rather than chair rentals, offering an attractive additional income stream alongside the core tanning operation.
