CoGoGo are delighted to present to the market, a unique opportunity to purchase an online luxury dog products company offering an exclusive range of tailored dog coats & jackets, stunning knitwear, collars and leads, neckwear, toys and homeware.
The distinct brand places clear emphasis on British quality with the history of London being at the forefront of its gentleman’s image for the discerning dog (and dog owner!).
All products are bespoke to them, promising the use of high-quality fabrics and leathers both sourced and made in the UK.
The goal of Baker & Bray is simple, to change the face of canine couture!
Inspired by the names of our clients Grandmothers, and their love for sewing, our client bought a sewing machine to replicate the jackets made for their own dogs and the inspiration and passion for the business began.
The first year was spent finding the right suppliers to ensure the designs could be made and the standard they had envisaged as well as embarking on a marketing programme to best promote their brand.
Our client will hand over all designs from current and previous ranges, most orders come from the featured ranges however there is the ability to order something more bespoke for your dog if required.
They were featured twice on the well-known documentary that detailed the operations behind the scenes at the iconic store Liberty in London. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity for such a new brand and our client admits they were not ready to supply the range the store required, and such the relationship did not continue. All of the initial supplier and pricing issues have been put to bed and any new owner would benefit from re-establishing this type of relationship to gain a High Street presence.
Further marketing activity included a catwalk feature on the fashion section on the Lorraine Kelly Show.
We feel both above experiences confirm the demand for the brand, and we are confident that any further exposure of this type would be able to lead to new sales being achieved.
Other Featured Press -
Our client invested around £140,000 to get to the position the brand is now at, he is selling simply due to his main employment commanding all his time and admits only existing orders are met with no push to gain new orders.
This position allows any new owner to purchase this business at a very low price and take the brand to the next level! Our client is also including all the current stock, events equipment, fabric & trimmings and packaging. (£20-25,000)
We identify brand opportunities of this type very rarely come to the open market and highly recommend early enquires to avoid disappointment.
