The space is divided into two sections by the layout of the building. The front section contains adult books, both fiction and non-fiction, greetings cards and antiques. Two of the walls are lined with bookcases, there is a freestanding rectangular bookcase gondola, a large display table, open shelving down the window side for display, storage drawers at the base of these shelves, a desk with till and barcode scanner. There are 2 freestanding rotating card displays. There is racking for gift wrap display by the till.
The rear section is used for children’s books – walls lined with bookshelves, display table in the middle. Door at rear through to toilet. The shop side of this door is used for further greeting card display. The door in the wall is to a shallow cupboard the full height of the shop.
