CoGoGo is delighted to present to the market Casa de l’Oli, a highly respected importer of Spanish Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
The delightful lifestyle changing opportunity was established by our clients in 2004, following the purchase of their finca and 10 hectares of land in southern Catalonia.
The ‘Turn-key’ business is now being sold to allow our clients to retire and spend more time with their family. However, a full business handover will be offered to ensure a smooth transition. The sale of the business does not include the finca in Catalonia, however, through negotiation, it could be.
The business produces Casa de l’Oli unfiltered extra virgin olive oil from their finca. They also sell two other Catalonian extra virgin olive oils from their local neighbours in Catalonia, which they buy and import.
The fresh ingredient oils (Citrus, Herb, Chilli and Garlic oils) are pressed for them. The Arbequina olive, a local olive, is cold pressed with the fresh ingredients at the time of pressing. These are pressed for them once a year, which they then import and bottle here in Suffolk.
The oils are bottled by hand by our clients, using specially designed glass bottles (made in Germany). We are advised they can comfortably fill 800 bottles per day.
The balsamic is imported from Cordoba in the South of Spain and Australia. Casa de l’Oli is the sole importer of both these ranges into the UK.
The range of products available include -
Pre-Covid, our clients attended around 25-30 different shows across the country however since reopening this year they have decided to run the business more to suit their change in lifestyle, reducing to 12.
The business concentrates 100% on supply to the UK market.
Our clients have confirmed the availability of the full range of oils and balsamic will be easily maintained and can be increased as needed. All the business contacts in Catalonia will be passed over to any new owner.
Further growth potential - This very well established business opportunity has immense room for growth. From attending more events across the UK with the contacts they already have, to pushing their social media presence. The business could potentially pursue a wider wholesale aspect too. The business has been maintained as it is for the last few years due to our clients other commitments, however any new owner could easily increase sales and turnover.
Very rarely does such a delightful ‘Run From Home’ business opportunity of this type come on to the open market and we therefore highly recommend early enquiries to avoid disappointment.
