CoGoGo welcomes to the market Cavendish Antiques & Tea Rooms, which has been established as an antiques centre since 2000 and is now being sold as our client is looking to retire. The ground floor area is currently used as a tradition tea room which displays fine quality antique furniture, lighting, art work & collectables from the 17th Century onwards; as well as vintage costume jewellery, gift and craft items all of which appeal to a large section of the public and visitors. The first floor is divided into two rooms which display and sell antiques, costume jewellery, art and novelties. The tea room sells tea, coffee and cold drinks, as well as locally sourced, handmade cakes, cream teas and light lunches. Being on a tourist route the tea rooms has many visitors throughout the year with many walkers and cyclists adding to the turnover. There are also many local customers who visit from not only Cavendish but other surrounding villages. There is scope for development by carrying out the following:Opening throughout the weekOpening when local events are onCreating a websiteCreating a social media page Also, if the upstairs was used as part of the tea room as opposed to only display and retail of antiques etc, then upwards of 50 heads could easily be catered for. At the moment only the ground floor is used for the tea rooms, restricting the number of heads to a maximum of 16. CoGoGo highly advise early viewing to avoid disappointment.
