CoGoGo presents an opportunity to acquire Winners Trophy Ltd, an established health and social care business operating since 2015.
The company is being offered as a business-only opportunity, providing an incoming purchaser with the chance to acquire an established limited company with existing CQC registrations and infrastructure in place.
Winners Trophy Ltd is CQC registered across two locations, one covering Swindon, Wiltshire, and the other based in Aldershot, Hampshire. Both locations are registered to provide the same regulated services.
The Hampshire location has not yet received a CQC rating, while the Swindon location has previously been inspected and is currently rated Inadequate. Prospective purchasers should independently review the current CQC position and satisfy themselves regarding all regulatory requirements as part of their due diligence.
The business is registered to provide personal care, supporting adults aged 18–65 and those aged 65+, including individuals requiring support relating to:
Complex care has been removed from the service offering, as this is nurse-led care and would require the appropriate nursing and registered management arrangements to be in place.
The company promotes a person-centred approach, with services designed to support individuals with their independence, dignity and quality of life.
The business currently has no active clients/service users and is therefore ideally positioned for an incoming purchaser who has the resources and experience to develop the operation and build the client base.
Winners Trophy Ltd has previously been awarded/accepted onto opportunities including CHS, Matrix 2023, Dorset 2023 and Hampshire. These are not currently operational, and the purchaser would need to reapply under the new management structure.
The business also benefits from an established website, business email accounts and other operational systems and registrations that provide useful foundations from which a new owner can develop the company further.
With its history dating back to 2015, two CQC-registered locations and established operational infrastructure, the business offers an opportunity for an existing care provider or suitably experienced purchaser looking to establish or expand their presence within the sector.
CQC Registration
Winners Trophy Ltd benefits from two CQC-registered locations, covering Swindon and Hampshire.
Both locations are registered for the same services.
The Hampshire location has not yet been rated by CQC, while the Swindon location is currently rated Inadequate following its previous inspection.
The exact status, continuation and requirements relating to the CQC registrations should be independently confirmed by an interested purchaser directly with the relevant regulatory bodies as part of their due diligence.
Contracts & Frameworks
The company has previously been awarded or accepted onto a number of contracts/framework opportunities, including:
These arrangements are not currently operational and should not be presented as active income-generating contracts.
An incoming purchaser would be required to reapply under the new management structure, and no guarantee is given that previous appointments or framework positions will automatically continue following the sale.
Transition Support
The current Nominated Individual/Registered Manager is prepared to provide up to three months of transition support on a part-time basis as part of the handover.
Any additional involvement beyond this period can be negotiated directly between the purchaser and manager
Early enquiries are encouraged to discover more about this business opportunity.
The business has two CQC-registered locations, covering Swindon, Wiltshire and Aldershot, Hampshire.
Both locations are registered to provide the same services.
The Swindon registered address is a residential property used for administrative purposes only and is not included within the sale. An incoming purchaser would therefore need to secure their own suitable office premises if they wish to continue operating the Swindon location.
The Hampshire operation provides an existing office base from which the purchaser can begin operating, subject to all necessary regulatory and occupational requirements.
This is being offered as a business-only sale.
The Hampshire operation is associated with office premises at Aldershot Enterprise Centre, 14–40 Victoria Road, Aldershot, GU11 1TQ.
The purchaser may be able to continue using the current Hampshire office for an initial transitional period while making their own longer-term arrangements, subject to agreement. The supporting business information states that the current Hampshire address may be used for approximately three to four months during the transition.
The private residential address associated with the Swindon registration is not included in the marketing particulars or sale.
